Vince Staples Joins James Blake for “Timeless” Remix & Tour

Back in May, James Blake debuted his ‘The Colour in Anything’, which featured his hit track “Timeless”. As he prepares for his North American tour this fall, Blake has revisited the hit single and recruited none other than Vince Staples. Remixing the British singer’s track, Staples provides an incredible, lengthy verse, touching upon capturing fleeting moments with a lover. “Until the sun shine bright/Until the last page turn/That’s if the fire in your eyes don’t leave the books all burnt/I tried to read between my lines without my glasses, girl I’m blind/I guess we got some shit in common after all,” he raps.

James Blake and Vince Staples originally premiered and performed live several months ago at the Glastonbury Festival back in June, though this is the first time that a CDQ quality version has become available. The “Timeless” remix can be streamed now above, on Spotify, or purchase on iTunes here.

Vince Staples and James Blake have previously collaborated, with Blake most recently appearing on Vince Staples EP, ‘Prima Donna’. Furthering their working relationship, it was announced that Vince will now be joining Blake and troubadour Moses Sumney on their tour this fall at select dates.
